Make Positive Affirmations Count

Coach yourself to accomplishment with positive affirmations and you can achieve anything. There is an old saying that you might as well not bother sharing your problems with other people. That is because 20 percent of the people do not care and 80 percent are glad it is happening to you. Resolve that you choose to use your affirmations to recognize certain truths and make it count.

1. We can give up control because we will certainly come to realize that we are not master of everything and everyone.

2. Realize that people are different. We can train ourselves to respect the actions and words of other people even if we sharply disagree.

3. Give yourself permission to mess stuff up sometimes. We know it is going to happen on a small or grand scale. Everyone makes mistakes and it is more important that we learn to accept our own as graciously as we do others.

4. Tell yourself that you can respond to any situation that goes upside down. The flat tire when you’re already late or the promotion you were passed over for can be handled.

5. Grant yourself a pass when it comes to problems with adult children, your best friend, or the boss. Remind yourself that you are not the guardian of the problems that other people experience. They are all capable of finding their own solutions.

6. This is a good time to remind yourself that you can take charge of the challenges in your life. You can affirm your skills, recognize your capacity for personal change, and commit to trying your best in every situation.

7. Just about everyone wants to be liked by others. We can all come to terms with the simple fact that not everyone on the planet is going to like us. The easiest path here is to remember that we do not necessarily like everyone we have ever met.

8. We can train to be flexible in our actions and our thoughts. We can employ any number of positive affirmations to any situation that arises.

There are many times when we have heard some talk about how happy someone else has made them. That is the type of statement that robs us of the honest truth that each of us is the master of well-being. We can choose how we respond to any situation and must learn how to award credit to ourselves for being positive. Each one us possesses the ability to transform our lives by unleashing the power of our emotions and thoughts framed in positive affirmations.
